HSE/Quality

Health, Safety and Environment

“Buddy-building” forms the basis of the HSE procedures in Orange Group AS.

The term “buddy-building” applies to the entire human being and reflects the company’s goal to include the entire human being in the workplace. This also covers psycho-social aspects.

Below are the most important things to remember with regards to HSE in the workplace:

  • Safety is the sum of many factors, including those that are seemingly unimportant.
  • You have to consider what might go wrong before you can do something safely.
  • We will make our customer’s safety even safer.

HSE is an integrated part of the planning and implementation of all our activities.

We must meet the current requirements that have been established by our customers and the authorities at all times.

Orange Group AS focuses on having a visible management, good safety routines, reporting on adverse events and providing good HSE information to the company’s employees.

Quality

Orange Group AS have based its quality procedures on the CANI concept – Constant And Never-ending Improvement. The concept is inspired by Dr W. Edwards Deming. Dr Deming is recognised as one of the founders of the Japanese quality movement, which led to the beginning of the economical revolution in Japan.

In Japan, there is a single word for CANI – “kaizen”, in which “kai” means change and “zen” means good.

In Orange Group AS we are determined to always get better.

CANI – continuous improvement and customer satisfaction are important keywords in our quality work. Complete and lasting customer satisfaction requires quality in every link of the chain.
